If you choose to work with Damar our first job is to understand your business objectives, whether it's enrolling one existing member of staff or recruiting and training a large group of apprentices nationally. In addition to training ad assessment, our service includes:
- Support with designing and planning your apprenticeship programme.
- Advertising your apprenticeship vacancies, assessing and shortlisting suitable candidates.
- Speaking to supervisors and managers to ensure they are on board.
- Support with PR and marketing of your programme, internally and externally.
Once enrolled, apprentices have a Damar assessor who makes regular (usually monthly) assessment and training visits. This 1:1 support is supplemented by on-line and paper-based study materials and practice tests. We keep you up to date with progress throughout and carry out regular reviews to ensure your apprentice is on track and that the business objectives identified at the start are being met.
Enrolment is on a rolling basis throughout the year - we fit around the needs of your business. Although your apprentice will need some time to study and for exams, day release from work is not required in most cases.
